MICHAEL CALLAHAN, CFA is the Managing Director of Business Development at Silver Creek. Mr. Callahan manages the firm’s capital raising efforts across absolute return and private credit strategies. Prior to joining Silver Creek in 2024, Mr. Callahan served as a Managing Director and Head of Global Credit Distribution on the Institutional Capital Raising team at Investcorp in New York. Previously, Mr. Callahan spent nine years at Shenkman Capital Management, where he had direct institutional responsibility for new business development, co-headed the Consultant Relations team responsible for global coverage, and oversaw all intermediary sales and client relations efforts which included broker dealers, registered investment advisers, and family offices. Earlier in his career, Mr. Callahan spent six years at the hedge fund manager Millburn Ridgefield. While there, he developed and led the firm’s institutional distribution efforts in North America for all global systematic macro and commodity programs, as well as their fund of hedge fund strategy. Prior to that, Mr. Callahan spent eight years at Fidelity Investments both in Boston and San Francisco covering registered investment advisers and family offices. He began his career in Boston at Scudder Investments (now known as DWS). Mr. Callahan received a B.A. from Saint Anselm College. He is also a CFA Charterholder and member of the Stamford Analyst Society.
